AI stands beside the learner, not in their place
One assistant, Vee, and five capabilities across five roles. Everything AI does leaves a trace you can look up, has a spending ceiling, and waits for a person before it touches a grade or published content.
Five things AI does on Versiq
Vee — the AI tutor
Five modes: quick answers, Socratic tutoring, teach-it-back, adaptive practice and reading your own documents. Cites sources when it finds them and says when it answers from general knowledge. Locked during tests.
V-Studio
Teachers prepare a whole lesson in one place: plans, slides, worksheets, exams built to the ministry’s test matrix, rubrics, flashcards and diagrams — saved to the school’s bank and assigned to a class.
Class AI
A teaching assistant each teacher configures per class. It answers from the class materials and hands questions about grades or off-curriculum topics back to the teacher.
Agents and workflows
Schools build agents with the least access they need, test them and approve them. Workflows chain steps with a person approving in the middle; every run is logged and can be stopped.
Knowledge base and AI wallet
Three shelves — mine, my department, my school — for questions, search and a knowledge graph. Every AI call on every surface draws from one AI wallet with a ceiling and a history.
Claude for guided conversation, one gateway that meters every call
Vee is not a model but a way of using one: guide step by step, cite the knowledge base, stop when a teacher is needed. Every AI call goes through Versiq’s own metering gateway, with logs and spend ceilings, and users are always told they are talking to an AI.
